A 'Cake Smash' photoshoot is an incredibly fun session! They are a popular choice among parents wanting to celebrate their child's first birthday, but you are welcome to book a cake smash session at any time once your baby is sitting independently. If you would like your photos in time for you little one's first birthday, ideally it needs to take place when they are around 11 months old.

The session will begin with a few portraiture shots - so make sure you have a cute Birthday outfit, followed by whatever you would like your little one to wear for the smash part. We can discuss the theme of your cake smash and I can provide you with guidance for their outfit. All you have to do is enjoy the squeals of delight when your little one tucks into the cake, while I capture the perfect photos!

​ Cake Smash Session - £100

• A pre-session consultation where we will discuss your colour theme/décor and any other details.

• 1 hour session time.

• Full use of my decorations and props - balloons, fans, lanterns, bunting, tassels, decorative flowers and foliage, tutus (as I have two little girls myself), cake stands and so on.

• If you have any personalised items that you want to use (for example a wooden initial, a sentimental piece or a treasured teddy bear etc - you are more than welcome to have these in the photoshoot set up).

• 10 digital images, fully edited in a personalised gallery for you to download - includes Print Release (allowing you to print from the digital images for personal use only).

• Additional images can be purchased, £7.50 per image.

• You provide the cake (and any personalised topper you may want to use). 

• Cake Smash shoots take place at my home in my conservatory in BB9 - near Marsden Golf Club.

A deposit of £40 is required to secure your booking for the Cake Smash session. The remainder of the balance is to be paid 24hrs prior to the shoot.
